I’ve always loved writing, but this is the first occasion where I am writing for someone else (not including the dozens of grant applications and funder reports I’ve worked on over the last decade working in the non-profit sector). To date, all my personal reflections have been just that, personal. This site will be both a creative outlet for things I think about, half-baked ideas as well as an accountability tool to keep my mind sharp and my fingers fast. At the very least, it will be good typing practice.

Journals from years past have shown me more than a recording of events and emotions, but rather reflections on travel, relationships, community, connection and compassion that I crave conversation about. So please leave your thoughts and comments on this blog. And thank you for reading.
